Dr. Merugu Anand Kumar, an accomplished academician and researcher, received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from SIST, Chennai in 2025. With an impressive 11 years of teaching experience, he has contributed significantly to both academic and administrative domains in higher education.
Throughout his career, Dr. Anand Kumar has held various key positions that reflect his leadership skills, commitment to academic excellence, and administrative expertise. His dedication to teaching and mentoring has earned him the recognition of “Best Teacher” for his result-oriented teaching practices.
A prolific researcher, he has published more than 30 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has also registered 6 patents in emerging areas of engineering and technology. His active involvement in research and innovation stands as an inspiration to both students and fellow faculty members.
Dr. Anand Kumar believes in continuous learning and professional development. He has successfully completed a certification program under ATAL and has actively participated in 20+ Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) focusing on cutting-edge and emerging technologies.
In addition to his academic achievements, he has contributed immensely to institutional development. He served as the NAAC Coordinator at St. Mary’s Engineering College, Hyderabad, where his efforts strengthened the academic quality framework of the institution.
